How To Improve Our Attitude

I'm not sure if attitude is everything, but I am sure that it affects everything. Our home life, our job, and all that lives in between is either made better or worse by our attitude.

Luckily improvement isn't impossible. In fact, with the articles and tips below, it can be simple.

1. Rise and Shine!
Getting up early and taking a walk in the morning is a great way to start the day. Fifteen or twenty minutes is plenty of time for a quick walk in the brisk morning air.

2. Tomorrow is a New Day
When things aren't going the way you might like them to go, remember that as time passes, so do your troubles. At the time it may be hard to realize that things will get better, but rest assured they will.

3. Control
The only one who can give you a good attitude is you. And the great news is, it can happen whenever you want it to. You could wake up tomorrow with a brand new outlook on life. And why? Because your attitude is yours to control. You don't need permission from anyone to change it.

4. Circle of Friends
You may be trying to stay positive, but if your friends or coworkers are negative, it may make for a losing battle. The company you keep impacts your attitude greatly. Seldom will you find a group of negative thinkers and one positive attitude together. Negativity can spread, so be sure to keep clear of noticeably negative situations.

5. Healthy Diet
You have heard it a thousand times, and this will make it a thousand and one. A good diet is vital to maintaining energy, alertness, and a positive attitude. Without the necessary amounts of fuel for your body, it cannot function properly. If you find yourself in a tired and negative mood, ask yourself, 'Have I eaten yet today?'

6. Sleep
Just as important as a healthy diet is the right amount of sleep. It seems obvious but many people don't get enough sleep at night. Without rest, the body and mind become irritable, fatigued, and they drag through the day. The same effects can result from oversleeping. Make sure you get the sleep you need each night.

7. Your Hobby to the Rescue
It is important to have a fun hobby or activity that you can do when facing a problem or a long, hectic day. Sports, books, collecting, etc. are great ways to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy yourself.

8. Do Unto Others
It's true what they say, you get what you give. When you focus on treating others positively and with respect, you will, in most cases, receive the same treatment. Change the focus from yourself to others and let the giving spirit be the reason for your improved view of the world.

9. The Bigger Picture
When you think of the world as a whole, it may serve to downplay the obstacles in your life that cause frustration or complication. You might have it bad, but the odds are that someone else has it worse. That in itself is enough to make people thankful for what they have.

10. Try Something New
If you feel like you're stuck and you need a way to break out, try something new. Picking up a new instrument, trying out a new sport, or discovering a new talent may add some excitement and enjoyment to your life.

11. Past Proofs
Others have successfully done what you are trying to do, and that is why you should be positive about the future. It doesn't matter what you are trying to accomplish, the chances are that someone has done it. That means you can do it too. We are all human, and we all have the same 24 hours in each day. If they can do it, so can you.

12. Stop It
If you get up on the wrong side of the bed, that doesn't mean you have to go to bed on that same wrong side. If your day begins poorly, make an effort to correct its direction. Realize you aren't happy and fix the problem. Your bad beginning could turn into a happy end.

13. You Need Bad Days
If you do have a bad day though, that's all right. Some people have trouble with that thought. They think that one bad day is not acceptable, making it even worse for them. We all have an off day. The important thing is to make sure we improve the next.

14. Write It Down
Want a positive attitude? Describe your attitude in writing. Your plan will be easier to work if you know what you want. Knowing you want a better attitude may not be enough. Get specific, plan your work, and work your plan.

15. Helping Hands
Bringing your friends and family into the picture is a great way to keep you heading in the right direction. Tell some friends about your desire for a better attitude and tell them to let you know when you are getting negative. You may not want to admit you have a negative attitude, but your friends sure will tell you.

16. Be the Optimist
Being the optimist for others can help you see the positive things in your own life. When a friend comes to you with a problem, remind yourself that you are trying to improve your attitude and make your best effort to give the most positive advice you can. It doesn't have to be overdone, but it should have a very positive flavor to it.

Horror Crash Near Negeri Sembilan - Melaka

SEREMBAN: Twelve people were killed when a north-bound express bus crashed through the guardrail and ploughed into five vehicles heading in the opposition direction at KM223.2 of the North South Expressway near Simpang Ampat here. Forty-five others were also injured in the 7.45pm accident, which occured near the Negri Sembilan-Malacca border here yesterday.
Witnesses said the express bus crashed into the rear of a car before the driver lost control of his vehicle and rammed through the guardrail and onto the path of an oncoming bus, two cars and a motorcycle.
The impact caused the express bus to flip onto its side. The bus driver and motorcyclist were among the casualties. The oncoming bus belonged to the Welfare Department.
Apparently, out of the 45 injured, four have been rushed to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment, 22 were sent to a hospital in Seremban and 12 to another hospital in Malacca.
The express bus had left Malacca about 45 minutes before the accident and was on its way to Kuala Lumpur.
The accident caused a traffic jam stretching for more than 25km along the expressway.
Of the 12 who died, eight were believed to be passengers from the express bus.
One of them was decapitated.
Two others were from a MyVi, which was crushed by the bus, and another from a Honda Accord.
PLUS officials had to divert motorists at the Pedas/Linggi toll plaza as the south bound lanes were impassable to traffic.
A Plus traffic control centre spokesman said the accident occurred at about 6km from the Simpang Ampat toll near Alor Gajah, Malacca.
“The middle and left lanes for the south-bound traffic were blocked by the vehicles involved in the accident while the right lane for the north-bound traffic was closed to facilitate emergency works at the scene,” he added.
Sources said that the department’s bus was carrying delegates for a gathering of former servicemen, which was attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil earlier in the day.
“None of them in this bus was injured,” said Malaysia Ex-Servicemen’s Association Datuk Muhammad Abdul Ghani.

Terkenang Jasa Parents

Macam roda, sentiasa berpusing.

Ya Allah, Kau panjangkanlah umur kedua ibu bapa ku..
Amin..

Bukan Senang Nak Senang

Tapi apa yang penting, biar aku teruskan apa yang aku tengah buat ni.
Kalo orang lain boleh, takkan aku takleh gak.
Mungkin belum tiba masanya lagi.

Investment In Properties

Gearing Up For Property Super Cycle?
Sep 25, 2010
According to OSK Research Sdn Bhd in its recent report, Malaysia's property sector is set to see its biggest residential boom in a decade, led mainly by medium- to high-end landed properties.  “The sector may peak sometime in 2012/13 before going into a potential slump, when mass housing boom will take over and continue in the first half of this decade. In fact, the research house was of the view that this sector was already entering the early stage of a property "super cycle".
Excited by such a prospect, we asked property consultants Ho Chin Soon and Gavin Tee for their opinions and the following are their responses:
Ho Chin Soon: The up-swing in real estate prices for middle and upper middle class properties has already begun.
Gavin Tee:  In my opinion, I would say that a major mass housing boom will not likely occur for the entire real estate industry. But there might be oversupply in big cities such as Klang Valley, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Melaka and Johor. The effect is most visible in globalized areas such as KLCC, Bukit Bintang and the surrounding business districts.
Besides, I believe that tourist areas might also be affected by the boom.
My reasoning is that when the international real estate market and economy recover from the downturn, it will spur global trading and economic activities, which will result in more foreign investors investing in our local real estate market. This might lead to the housing boom.
However, this is only applicable to certain areas where the foreign investors are interested in and it is not an overall market boom. In fact, based on Malaysia’s history, it is rare that a general boom or general bust would strike our property market.
Are we in the early stage of the “Super Cycle”? I would say that our current market conditions do not depict such a scenario yet. Perhaps it is happening to the high-end condos but I still think that the signs are not strong.
Government policies and foreign investment guidelines are crucial factors in this matter. We will have a better view after the budget 2011 is released.  Perhaps by March 2011, we will be able to attract more foreign investors and if that happens, it might be the beginning of a “Super Cycle”.
In addition, I believe that 2012-2013 would be a high peak for commercial properties, high-end condos and landed properties. I don’t think that the general secondary market will enjoy the benefit of the “super cycle”. And, I don’t think there will be a slump after the cycle, especially for medium-cost houses. There might only be minor price adjustments for medium cost houses even if other types of properties are facing the boom.
Moreover, I foresee that institutional or international players (big players) will be more interested to invest in areas that are more globalized such as locations with high-end properties and commercial properties. These prime assets in the market will eventually be owned by a few giant corporations.
In the next few years, the rental market will be the leading real estate market. Unfortunately, in Malaysia, our management skills and knowledge are not up to international standards yet. So, rental management business could be one of the rising industries when the super cycle comes.
