Hidup

5 Things You Should Learn from a Business Failure
So your business has failed, huh? It seems as if all hope has been sucked down the drain.
What do you do? Learn! Learn from your mistakes so you wont make the same missteps in the future and instead become a better leader and entrepreneur.
Here are some very important points you should take note of after a business failure so you can emerge from the rubble as a stronger and more savvy business owner.
In what areas did you spend too much time and/or money?
It is important to examine where you allocated most of your resources. Allotting most of your time and money to an area of your business that wont yield positive returns is an inefficient practice and should be curtailed in the future.
Perhaps you spent too much time on designing an IT infrastructure? Maybe you spend too much money on office furniture and supplies and not enough on advertising? You might have even spent too much time researching.
While I can’t emphasize enough the importance of research, doing too much of it may be counterproductive–it may discourage you from taking any risks and may lead you spending too much time and money into preparation and not enough on action.
Either way, evaluating areas that prove to be a money/time drain for you and your business is important and will allow you to invest your resources in more efficient and effective areas of your business in the future.
In what areas did you spend too little time and/or money?
Similar to the last point, perhaps you underfunded certain areas of your business with little of your time and/or money. Look at all the vital areas of your business. Sales is a top priority regardless, but some other areas might be more important to certain businesses while insignificant to others.
For example, if you are a web design company, chances are you will need to spend more money on web design and graphic software as well as more powerful computers than a interior design firm will.
Therefore, consider all areas of your business that added value to your product and determine if these areas were receiving enough support. For some businesses, this may be fairly obvious, while for others this might require some thinking. The important thing to remember is that you are trying to determine the optimal funding that each area of your business requires so that your operations will be as efficient and effective as possible in the future.
What strengths of yours were utilized while this business was running? Which were underutilized?
Are you naturally a good manager? Salesman? Leader? Visionary? Wherever your strengths lie, leverage them! Especially in the early stages when you need these strengths the most. If your business failed, you should determine whether or not you used your strengths to your best advantage.
Take this one step further and make sure to determine what your strengths actually are. Maybe you thought you were good at something but your performance in this area proves otherwise. Knowing what strengths of yours to leverage and what weaknesses either need improving or avoiding are very important skills a leader should have.
Knowing this will allow you to produce for your next business more effectively.
What weaknesses of yours, as an entrepreneur need improving?
Do your leadership skills need some work? Maybe you need to become a better listener? Or perhaps you have hang-ups on certain little things that aren’t as important as you think they are.
Whatever your weaknesses are, it is important that you locate them and either improve upon them or ensure someone else handles them. Again, delegating something according to skill (even to yourself) is an important ability for any leader or manager to have.
What particularly missed the mark? Was it targeted customers? Bad branding? Bad product? What could you do to improve this in the future?
Try to pinpoint the exact reason why your business missed the mark. Perhaps it is fairly obvious, perhaps not. However, knowing this will allow you to, in the future address these problems more effectively, more quickly and allow you to notice them before they actually arrive.
Does anyone else have any important lessons from business failures that they would like to share?

30 Inspirational Quotes About Hard Work
When having to decide on working hard or working smart, always choose
both. You could be working smart and get good results but you would get
even better results if you also worked hard. The feeling you get when
you accomplish something after putting a ton of work into it is one that
money can’t buy. It will build your character and make success taste
far sweeter than if success had just landed on your lap. The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work.
work is the key to success, and hard work can help you accomplish
anything.

Ruang personal, bebetul dah lama..
Hujung tahun 2012,
Berita tergempar ditengah malam Jumaat, 8/12/2012..
panggilan telefon dari adik ipar..
Drive dari Melaka ke parit Jawa, Muar..
Mak Mertua jatuh sakit..
Esoknya bawa pergi ke hospital Muar..
Selang tiga hari, mak mertua meninggalkan kami untuk selamanya...
Al-Fatihah buat Allahyarhamah Hamidah Binti Abdullah..
Al - Fatihah
So, tahun 2013 merupakan sessi baru buat isteri tercinta..
Datang lagi satu tahun baru awal bulan Feb. ni..
Chinese New Year..
Bermulalah satu lagi sambutan perayaan..
Keluarga tetap keluarga..
Keluarga sebelah sana banyak menasihati kami supaya bangun semula..
Biasalah, kami memang belum hilang sedih lagi..
Sambil tu bincang tentang perniagaan kecantikan diorang..
So, sekarang tengah buat planning untuk marketing diorang..

11 Ways To Make This Your Best Year Yet
Today is a wonderful time to
take stock and reflect on the year gone by, the triumphs you achieved,
the time you shared with family and friends, the good choices you made
in business. But in order to grow and develop both personally and
professionally, you also have to look back at and acknowledge the things
that challenged you, the things that did not go so well.
There is nothing wrong with setbacks, in fact, I believe that if we don't have obstacles to overcome along the way we won't learn and grow. Thomas Watson, the founder of IBM, once said, "If you want to increase your rate of success, you better be prepared to increase your rate of failure."
We all have hopes and dreams for the future. Today the slate is wiped clean for all of us as we start afresh. Why not take a few moments to think about your dreams and goals for the year that starts today? In what areas do you want to grow? What is truly important to you? What challenges do you want to take on? Most of us don't realise what we can accomplish when we unleash the hidden talents that we possess.
To help you make this year your best ever, take a few moments to ponder these 11 suggestions:
1. Challenge yourself
Have a clear vision and focus of what you want to achieve and set a time frame. Challenge yourself to be the best you can be at all times. Visualise what you want to accomplish. See it in your mind. Write down your goals, have a plan of action, and never doubt you will be successful.
2. Find the love factor
Surround yourself with loving, supportive people. Stay away from the dream stealers, the people who would bring you down. Cherish the special people in your life and let them know you cherish them.
3. Dedicate quality time
Life is so precious; make the most of each and every day. Rise early, spend some quality time by yourself as well as with those you care about. Go for a walk, workout, read a book. Value not only the time you spend with your loved ones, but also the time you spend by yourself.
4. Stretch your comfort zone
Do at least one thing a day, which makes you feel uncomfortable. Push yourself; you will be amazed how far you can go. Remember: on the other side of fear is freedom. To remain stagnant is not to grow. To reach your full potential, you must rise above the fray and soar like an eagle.
5. Be passionate
Show passion in everything you do. Let it show in your body language, in your smile, in your voice. Let your eyes sparkle. Let the world see and hear your enthusiasm and let it feel your passion.
6. Serve others
Be a role model and mentor for people. Volunteer in your community and help others achieve their goals. Your world will be enriched and a better place for sharing your talents and giving freely of your time. Leave a lasting legacy.
7. Don't sweat the small stuff
Let go of the little things you can't control. Don't take yourself so seriously. Recognise that perfection isn't always the only option. Don't let life's imperfections bother you. Lighten up and see the funny side of things when they go wrong, the learning in them. Be tolerant, smile...don't waste your energies on the small stuff, you have much bigger fish to fry.
8. Live with integrity
Always be true to yourself. Take pride in whatever you do. Be proud of who you are and what you represent. Accept others with all their flaws. Show compassion and goodwill to your fellow human beings. Be dignified. Lead a life of purpose and be proud of your values.
9. Show gratitude
Show gratitude and say thank-you to the people who have helped you along the way. Send a handwritten letter to someone who has touched you. Call up a friend or loved one and tell them how much they mean to you. Compliment a colleague or business associate on a job well done. Show people you appreciate and care about them. Acts of kindness cost nothing but mean everything.
10. Celebrate success
Be proud of your achievements. Take time to recognise yourself and others for even the small successes. But also be humble and dignified, sensitive to people who are not as fortunate as you.
11. Exude a positive attitude
I cannot express enough the importance of having a positive attitude and believing in yourself. Yes, you can be well intentioned, you can be determined, but without a positive attitude about yourself and about life, you will not succeed. Dreams will die, goals will fade, and gloom and darkness will replace clear blue skies and sunshine in your mind and heart.
Remember people will sometimes forget what you say to them or do for them, but they will never forget how you made them feel in their hearts. Make yourself a commitment for this year not only to have the best year ever, but to help others that you care about accomplish this goal as well.
